Dua Lipa’s “Radical Optimism” tour landed in Liverpool on Tuesday with a high-shine performance at Anfield, where she performed in a custom Swarovski bodysuit and shimmering silver boots from Christian Louboutin — well before the downpour that arrived later in the set.

The boots, visible as the singer was lifted above the crowd during a choreography sequence, featured a mid-shaft silhouette with a softly squared toe and stacked block heel, all covered in densely packed crystal mesh. A crimson outsole flashed through the movement — a Louboutin signature. The boots rose to the knee, with a functional inside zipper and soft structure that hugged over fishnet tights. Their blocky heel and snug fit offered support without sacrificing visual drama.

Her matching bodysuit, designed by Swarovski’s global creative director Giovanna Engelbert, was constructed entirely from crystal mesh and embroidered with mixed-size chatons. A molded crystal bra and sculptural belt nodded to the brand’s Constella collection. Statement jewelry, including a cascading choker and chandelier earrings, added to the reflective power of the look.

It was one of several custom outfits worn that night. Lipa also performed in a lace catsuit by Alessandro Michele for Valentino, a sequin Chanel bodysuit with leather boots and a blue faux-fur Balenciaga coat layered over thigh-high stockings and purple block heels. Her silver boots were one of two glittering Louboutin pairs worn during the show — the other appeared with her Valentino lace catsuit — reinforcing her current formula: knee-high and crystal-covered, but still functional enough to perform in.
The Liverpool crowd got the full experience, with a late-set rainstorm only heightening the atmosphere. Lipa acknowledged the night on Instagram the following day, writing, “And through the downpour of an English summer, Liverpool you were with me every step of the way! I love you I love you I love you!!!! Let’s go again tonight!!!!! ❤️”
The “Radical Optimism” tour, which launched in Singapore in late 2024 and runs through 2025, continues as the singer celebrates a recent engagement to actor Callum Turner. Her chunky diamond engagement ring — a bold gold band with a flush-set solitaire — has marked something of a trend in bridal jewelry searches.
