Puma is reinterpreting its track-and-field heritage of the early 2000s with the H-Street sneaker, set for release in three colorways on Saturday. The style was previewed by Blackpink member Rosé back in May at a VIP opening event in Seoul as part of the Future Archives initiative highlighting Puma‘s signature low-profile styles.
Taking inspiration from an archival running spike, the H-Street finds its roots in the ’90s-era Harambee silhouette, a speed-focused shoe which gets its name from the Swahili word for “pull together” — meant to evoke team spirit.

In addition to a low-profile silhouette, the H-Street features a lightweight mesh upper and nostalgia-inspired elements including a T-shaped toe box, a shape ready for racing and a track-influenced outsole tread. Also contributing to the sneaker’s vintage vibe are silver panels. Puma’s wordmark and cat logo can be found on the tongue.

The three colorways featured in the launch are Black, Fizzy Green and Frosted Ivory.
Christina Mirabelli, director of sport-style marketing at Puma, said in a statement, “The running-inspired roots of the Puma H-Street feel perfectly in sync with the style landscape of today, as we continue to extend our footprint in the low profile space. It’s another icon from our archive that showcases Puma’s rich heritage, evolved for 2025 with a fresh lifestyle perspective.”
“To the consumer’s eye, the new H-Street will look very similar to the 2003 model,” Mirabelli said to FN in a previous interview. “But we have updated the sole to add some new comfort features to better meet our modern customers’ needs.”
Additional low-profile Puma sneakers include the Puma Speedcat, which was reimagined as part of a Balenciaga collaboration and reinterpreted in leather with the Puma Speedcat Go iteration.
