The actress is already a mother to Zehaan, and now she and her husband, Zaid Darbar, are expecting their second bundle of joy. The actress has been in her third trimester of pregnancy and remains dedicated to all her work commitments. Now, recently, she gave a strong reply to folks who asked her about why she was not resting during her pregnancy.
Gauahar Khan opens up on why she has been working during the third trimester of her second pregnancy
Gauahar is known for her body of work in movies, TV shows and web series. She has not slowed down and continues to be dedicated to all her work-related commitments. The actress recently sat down for an interview with FilmyGyan where she was asked about how netizens were worried for her and wanted the actress to work. They asked her about why she was working during her pregnancy. Gauahar gave a befitting reply and mentioned:
“Why am I working? It is something that I am passionate about. I love it and love being in front of the camera. It is what I have been doing for the last 25 years of my life. Allah ne mujhe capable banaya hai ki mei kar sakti hu. Uppar wale se aap kya dua karte hoh? Achi sehat ke liye aur ache karam ke liye. When I can rest, I am rested. I am very well taken care of, Allahamdullilah. When I have to rest, I rest many days.”
Gauahar Khan shares being pregnant while shooting for the climax of Fauji 2
Gauahar was recently seen at an event organised by the makers of Fauji 2 as it completed 100 episodes. Gauahar addressed the press during the song launch of the show and revealed of shooting for the climax of Fauji 2 when she was three months pregnant. Gauahar also shared that nowadays production houses and different workplaces have become supportive towards expecting mothers. Gauahar also revealed that she would not leave work even after the delivery of her second child. In her words:
“The best part for me was that while shooting for the Fauji 2 climax, I was already pregnant. Not few while shooting many episodes, I was pregnant. The actual action climax I shot during my first 3 months of pregnancy so Fauji 2 will always be very very special for me. The action star is already in the stomach.”
Gauahar also revealed that she did not compromise with motherhood when she was shooting for Fauji 2. The actress continued in the interview with the publication that she had ensured that her son, Zehaan, was always with her when she shot Fauji 2 for two years. In her words:
“I didn’t care. I was like mere toh pocket se bhi paise jaaye koi problem nahi. Lekin I have no problem even if money is spent from my pocket, but I had to know that I am bringing my child and not just (external) help.”
When Gauahar Khan suffered a miscarriage
Gauahar in the first episode of her YouTube, podcast had shared that before her son, Zehaan, was born, she had a miscarriage. The actress revealed of not talking about the same in the public domain. Her baby was 9 weeks old when she lost the unborn soul. She did not have words to describe that feeling, and on what she had undergone.
