Not even a heat wave could keep Charlize Theron from wearing a cool pair of shoes.
The actress is in New York City to promote her upcoming Netflix film, “The Old Guard 2,” and during her visit, she faced the city’s hot temperatures in eye-grabbing open-toe heels, including caged sandals from McQueen.

The singer arrived at ABC studios in Hudson Yards on Monday wearing an eyebrow-raising ensemble, despite the 90-degree weather. On her feet, the actress wore the McQueen Caged Sandal in black from the spring 2025 collection. The shoes are not currently available, but they retail for $1,590.
The Caged sandal is made out of a smooth black calf leather and features a square-toe silhouette. The open-toe shoes have the appearance of an ankle boot, but instead, the open design is held together by four functional buckled straps that go across the upper and up the ankle, giving it a cage-like design.

There is cushioned piping around the ankle for comfort and a bombe heel counter. The shoes are complete with a towering 120mm slanted block heel and are balanced by a sturdy platform.
The actress paired the black shoes with a matching McQueen Cobweb Lace sweater in black and ivory.
Retailing for $1,590, the crew neck sweater is made of black wool cashmere and features long sleeves with a black cobweb lace and ivory silk plissé creponne trims at the hem.
To add some balance to the look, she went for a black and white mini skirt, also from McQueen’s spring 2025 collection. The skirt featured a distressed effect, with long, fringed silver and crystal embellishments dangling from it like jewelry. The skirt was featured as part of Look 35 on the runway.
There is a “Coming Soon” label on the McQueen website for the shoes.
