Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Jay-Z brought coordinated cool with a cowboy twist to the Louis Vuitton spring 2026 menswear show in Paris on Tuesday, making a strong case for leather, denim and subtle footwear. The couple arrived hand-in-hand, flanked by their nephew Julez Smith, in looks that quietly echoed her ongoing “Cowboy Carter” aesthetic, but with Parisian polish.

Knowles-Carter opted for black patent platform sandals with block heels that peeked out from beneath the hem of her denim jumpsuit. The heels featured a thick block base and a single slim strap across the front — a sharp, sculptural silhouette that added height without taking away from the rest of the ensemble. The look was clean, calculated and consistent with the streamlined, futuristic footwear Pharrell Williams has championed at Louis Vuitton.

Jay-Z, walking beside her, followed with polish: classic black leather dress shoes, finished with a soft shine and a subtle stacked heel. The couple’s coordinated footwear — elevated but understated — echoed their larger style sync.
Knowles-Carter’s denim one-piece was belted at the waist with silver cowboy-style hardware, a clear nod to her “Cowboy Carter” era. A red feathered jacket, slung over one shoulder, added texture and movement. She carried a Louis Vuitton luggage-style bag complete with gold hardware, and topped the look with a brown cowboy hat. Her hair, worn loose and blonde, cascaded in soft waves down the front of the jumpsuit.
Jay-Z’s outfit brought in similar elements without competing. He wore a black leather jacket with tonal quilting through the sides and sleeves, layered over a crisp white T-shirt and black trousers. A brown belt with silver detailing mirrored hers almost exactly. He completed the look with Wayfarer-style sunglasses.

Footwear has been central to the singer’s “Cowboy Carter” narrative. Earlier this month in London, she stepped onstage in custom gold Jimmy Choo Cece boots. Days before, she debuted Thom Solo’s Rodeo Queen thigh-highs — a black napa leather silhouette wrapped in buckles and gold-leafed hardware. Tuesday’s platform heels weren’t built for stadiums, but they kept the same priorities: proportion and precision.
It’s a throughline that stretches back to the 2024 Grammys, where Knowles-Carter wore a crystal-studded Louis Vuitton look from Williams’ Western-themed fall collection. Then, she paired a Stetson with couture-level embellishment. In Paris, she scaled it down — but stayed just as on-theme.
