The European branch of the Walking Dead universe will move to its new locale in September.

AMC has set a Sept. 7 premiere date for season three of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which as previously revealed takes place (and was filmed in) Spain. The cable network also released a brief teaser for the coming season Sunday night, during the season finale of The Walking Dead: Dead City. Watch it below.

After reuniting in France during season two of Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) “continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love,” the season three logline reads. “As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.”

How the two end up in Spain remains to be seen, but showrunner David Zabel told The Hollywood Reporter after the season two finale that Daryl and Carol’s nomadic existence suits the show well. “We loved the reinvigoration we experienced going to France, and we wanted to continue doing that,” he said. “On a story level, the characters should not settle down. It should be a road show. They have to keep moving [to return home]. At the end of season two, they’re going somewhere. We don’t know exactly where, and it’s not a direct line to the next place they go. But the idea is to keep the characters struggling and striving to get home and moving.”

Along with the teaser, AMC has also released several new photos from the coming season of Daryl Dixon, including ones featuring new series regulars Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay (along with McBride wielding a sword).
