The format of The Pitt doesn’t lend itself to too much time spent on the hospital staff’s personal lives. The medical drama is told in real time, with each episode covering one hour and each season one shift. But in the first season, there were bits and pieces about Robby (Noah Wyle) and Collins’ (Tracy Ifeachor) past as well as other flirtations and connections caught by fans.
When TV Insider spoke with executive producer R. Scott Gemmill about the finale, the plan did seem like that won’t change for Season 2, and we shouldn’t expect much, if any, romance.
