Sunny Hostin “almost died” from a walnut allergy while filming Wednesday’s episode of “The View.”

During a segment with Debbie Matenopoulos, who was promoting her new Greek cookbook, the “View” co-host’s chowed down on cuisine as they interviewed her.

“As I’m eating the food, Alyssa asks, ‘Are those walnuts in here?’ And she says ‘Yes.’ So I panic immediately,” Hostin recalled on Friday’s episode, adding that the food was “wonderful,” but she has a “terrible allergy to walnuts.”

She immediately wrote a “death note” to co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin who can be seen in the clip mouthing, “Oh, no!”

“And I’m looking at [executive producer] Brian [Teta] and he’s like, ‘Is everything OK?’ No, it’s not,” she recalled as a clip of her shaking her head no showed.

Hostin, 56, was able to finish filming the segment before on-staff doctors rushed out to help.

“Our Disney nurses are like superheroes,” Hostin said.

“Nurse Jan came in with an EpiPen. She was testing me. I had Benadryl. I was scared,” she added.

Griffin said the ordeal was “scary” and she could tell Hostin was having a bad reaction, but admitted when she first was handed the note she couldn’t make out what it said.

“We’re glad you made it through,” Griffin added.

Hostin noted something like that hadn’t happened in 10 years.

Matenopoulos, who was one of the original “View” co-hosts in the ’90s, brought on the show an orzo salad, which included walnuts, and spanakopita, a savory Greek pastry with spinach and feta cheese.

Luckily, the co-hosts were able to laugh off the incident on Friday’s show.
