Ciara went sporty in sneakers for the opening of Jay-Z’s 40/40 club at Fanatics Fest on Friday afternoon in New York City.

For the event, which brought forth tons of other noteworthy names such as Tom Brady, Logan Paul and more, the musician elected to wear a pair of white kicks, which have been a tried-and-true choice over the decades thanks to their comfort and classic design. Made with crisp leather material, the silhouette features an all-white design and matching white laces. The entrepreneur paired her sneakers with distressed blue jeans, a blue and white mesh baseball jersey and rectangular sunglasses that appeared to be from Prada.

Posing alongside her was her NFL superstar husband, Russell Wilson, who chose a comfortable pair of all-black Air Jordans, which he paired with black joggers, a fleece pullover from Nike and black sunglasses. Wilson wasn’t the only celeb who sported a pair of Jordans for the event. Music producer and rapper DJ Khaled hit the blue carpet wearing the Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 NA3, which retails for $125 and features a classic 1980s construction.

Crafted with a synthetic leather upper that also includes a perforated toe box, the silhouette is characterized by its chrome finish overlays and iridescent accents. Originally designed to be a performance hoops shoe, it incorporates lightweight cushioning for all-day comfort, a foam midsole and a padded collar. The shoes are completed by a rubber outsole equipped for durability and traction.

Khaled coordinated his sleek sneakers with black track pants, a striped blue and white polo t-shirt and black shades. Michael Rubin, CEO of Fanatics, was also spotted wearing Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, which retail between $4,000 and $6,000. Designed by the late Virgil Abloh, the shoe features Louis Vuitton branding in gold, the traditional luxe LV-stamped leather and the iconic Nike Swoosh. The Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Low was released by Abloh posthumously in June 2022 for a retail price of $2,750.

Fanatics Fest is a three-day sports and collectibles festival held at the Javits Center in New York City. According to the company, it brings together sports legends, celebrities, and collectors from all walks of life for an immersive experience with interactive activations, exclusive merchandise, and live events. The festival also includes autograph sessions, meet-and-greets, trading card breaks, and a “Pros vs. Joes” competition with a $2 million prize.
