On June 20, 2025, Alia Bhatt was papped outside her gym classes, and oh boy, the gorgeous mommy of Raha Kapoor looked adorable. Alia wore black treggings with a matching sleeveless black-hued cropped t-shirt. With soft makeup and hair half tied in a bun, she completed her look. She happily waved at the paps as she radiated a flush of pink cheeks. Her toned mid-rif was enough to dismiss all the pregnancy gossip about her.
Alia Bhatt’s second pregnancy speculation raised during her gym outing
Earlier this week, Alia was spotted outside a gym in athleisure wear. Her hair was tied in a high bun, and she looked in a rush. However, fans instantly noticed her tummy and wondered if she was expecting her second child. The buzz first started during her Cannes 2025 appearance. It is worth mentioning that the couple have not spoken about the rumours.
Alia’s wish of having more babies
For those who don’t know, Alia, in an interview with IMDB’s Icons Only, was questioned about her future plans. She clearly stated that she wants to have more babies. She also expressed how she wanted to be part of more movies, not just as an actor but also as a producer. Further, Alia expressed her wish for more travel and to live a quiet life in the midst of nature. She was quoted as saying:
“Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life.”
When Alia talked about finalising her second baby’s name
Earlier, when Alia Bhatt appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast, she gave a hint that her second baby’s name has already been fixed. She said that when she was pregnant with her first child, she had sorted out the names of both boys and girls with her husband, Ranbir. And they asked their families to chip in with more name ideas, so that’s how they were prepared. Alia can be quoted as saying:
“This was when Ranbir and I both, like eager parents, were asking on our family group to give both boys and girls names so we’re prepared, so we can zero down on like a girl name and a boy name. So, there were multiple boy names and multiple girl names and, um, we really liked one boy name.”
Alia further added that they have a boy’s name and a girl’s name saved, which matches their first daughter, Raha’s name. Not only this, her mother-in-law even suggested another girl name. So, they are sorted with their second baby’s name. Alia said:
“We said, ‘Okay, this a lovely boy name.’ I’m not going to reveal that now. We said okay, this name is lovely, now any more girl? My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mom, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It’ll go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a boy and a girl, it’ll be a really good combination.’ Then she suggested a girl and girl combination as well. But Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha. So we had two names, boy and girl, ready.”
