Now, on June 19, 2025, the Taali fame, Sheetal Kale, revealed she and her family were supposed to be in the crashed helicopter.
Sheetal Kale offers condolences to families who lost their loved ones in the Kedarnath helicopter crash
Taking to her Instagram Stories, on June 19, 2025, the Taali actress offered condolences to the families who lost their near and dear ones in the tragic Kedarnath helicopter crash. For the unversed, the Aryan Aviation helicopter was flying from Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi, with 7 people, including a pilot, on board and devotees, which crashed near a remote area of Gaurikund, Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand. Sharing a long heartfelt note, Sheetal wrote:
“I feel deeply saddened by the tragic helicopter crash in Kedarnath. My heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones.”

Further in the long note, Sheetal revealed that she and her family were supposed to be in the doomed Kedarnath helicopter, but due to a last-minute health crisis of her mom, they had to cancel the tickets. The Taali actress shared that when they had to cancel the trip, she was disappointed, but later, when she got to know about the tragic incident, she believed it was a ‘twist of fate’ that saved their lives. In her words:
“What’s even more shocking is me and my family were supposed to be on that same helicopter, on the same day. Tickets were booked, everything was planned. But just a day before, my mom’s sudden health issue made us cancel the trip. At the time, I was disappointed… now, I believe it was nothing short of divine intervention. That twist of fate saved our lives. Life is fragile and being alive is the biggest blessing.”
Helicopter service in Uttarakhand was suspended for two days after the Kedarnath helicopter crash
Following the tragic helicopter crash in Kedarnath, the helicopter service in Uttarakhand was suspended for two days. On June 15, 2025, talking to ANI, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, said the helicopter service would not run for two days. For the unversed, among the 7 people who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash, there was a 23-month-old infant. According to a report by ANI, later, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) said that the helicopter services will resume from June 17, 2025.
