RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav slammed Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and the ruling NDA alliance blaming them for deteriorating law and order situation in the state.His comments came after responding to questions about the recent gunfire outside his residence. Recalling the incident and holding the chief minister responsible, Yadav said, “There is complete lawlessness. It’s a reign of criminals. There’s no sign of governance left, and the chief minister has lost all authority.”Criticizing the NDA alliance, Yadav added, “The administration is in total disarray under this government. No one is safe in Bihar. Nitish ji is creating rules to get AK-47-wielding criminals released from jail. Those who carry AK-47s are being protected by him, he is facilitating their escape.”The incident occurred on Thursday morning when two men on a motorcycle opened fire in Patna’s high-security Polo Road area. The locality houses the residences of several ministers and senior officials. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.A case has been registered by the police and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the shooters.
