Solange Knowles is putting her own spin on Ilia Beauty.

In the spirit of her homecoming performance series in Houston, Knowles joined forces with the clean beauty brand to release her very own limited-edition edit called “The Eldorado Ballroom by Solange.” The curated collection features five of Ilia’s preexisting, cult-favorite products, including the Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40, the Limitless Lash Mascara in After Midnight, the Eye Stylus Shadow Stick in Opulent, the In Frame Brow Gel and the Lip Wrap Reviving Balm. Prices range from $48 to $24.

Solange Knowles is partnering with Ilia Beauty in honor of her June concert series at the Eldorado Ballroom in Houston.

The collaboration is inspired by the vibrance Knowles is bringing to the historic Third Ward music hall in which she’s performing, the Eldorado Ballroom, this June. The Eldorado Ballroom opened in 1939 as an Art Deco venue hosting Black social clubs during the Jim Crow era. Irrevocable talents such as Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles and B.B. King graced the stage, solidifying its status as one of the premier music spots in the South. In the spring of 2023, the hot spot underwent a $10 million renovation.

Knowles’ Ilia edit is meant to serve as an extension of her unquenchable sound and continued creative expression. Ilia has also been working with Knowles and Saint Heron, the multidisciplinary agency she founded in 2013, in support of the Houston shows alongside the Italian fashion maison, Ferragamo.

Knowles’ edit includes five Ilia Beauty products, inlcuding the brand’s mega viral Super Serum Skin Tint.

Earlier in May, Ilia tapped the Paris Saint-Germain women’s soccer club to become the brand’s hybrid partner until 2026. At the time, WWD spoke with Sasha Plavsic, Ilia founder, about the move. “Paris holds a special place in my heart, having lived and worked in Europe for a number of years,” she said. “Coming from a family of athletes, I understand the dedication and the painstaking work ethic that is required of an athlete.”

Beauty has been rapidly bleeding into the sports world for some time now. The crossover has seen other prestige brands such as Charlotte Tilbury gravitate to collaborate with female-led organizations to mark their inaugural move within the wider athletic lexicon. The British luxury makeup, skin care and fragrance company recently launched a partnership with the viral Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders to create the Charlotte Tilbury Darlings.

“The DCC are a symbol of strength, empowerment and entertainment, which is why they continue to inspire millions of fans around the world. I’ve been inspired by them since their start in the 1970s, as they so beautifully showcase glamour and confidence alongside athletic excellence and dedication,” Charlotte Tilbury, the brand’s namesake founder, told WWD in June.
