It was a denim day for Ciara as she made her way to “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in New York City on Tuesday, wearing a unique pair of thigh-high blue jean Balenciaga boots, which matched a blazer of the same aesthetic.

The singer — who has shown a penchant for thigh-high boots in the past — stepped out in Balenciaga’s Flex over-the-knee boot in light blue denim, which is part of the brand’s spring 2025 collection presented by creative director Demna. (It was announced earlier this year that the Georgian designer is moving to Gucci, with his final Balenciaga show set for July 9; Pierpaolo Piccioli has been revealed as his replacement.)
The boundary-pushing shoes resemble a pair of black pointed-toe boots worn underneath a pair of straight-leg jeans, if those jeans are cut off above the knee with a distressed hemline. The collection to which the set belongs was presented during Paris Fashion Week in September; Miles Socha reviewed the show for WWD, writing in part, “The show had a frisky feel, laced with sly humor and Demna’s formidable handle on subverting clothing archetypes.”
The set retails for $2,290.

The unique boots unified a look that otherwise consisted of a white top, a silky midnight blue miniskirt, and a light blue denim blazer with shoulder pads. Ciara accessorized with rings and a layered necklace look, including a cross pendant. As for her hairstyle, she opted for cascading dark curls.

When it comes to footwear and clothing, Ciara is willing to try out a variety of silhouettes and labels. She recently attended the BET Awards on June 9 wearing a fall 2025 Cong Tri look with rhinestone-embellished Saint Laurent sandals.
