Ader Error and Converse are back at it again with their third global collaboration.

According to the Seoul-based brand founded by an anonymous design collective in 2014, this new collection centers around the Ader Error x converse Wave Trainer sneaker model.

The design company noted that the sneaker reinterprets the original 1989 running shoe silhouette from Converse and incorporates curved design elements made in Ader Error’s signature blue.

The style also features a mix of mesh uppers layered with cowhide, suede, and shaggy suede, while the heel is equipped with an asymmetrical leather detail and a knotted string attachment, allowing for a detachable cover that offers two distinct styling options in a single sneaker. Additional design features include a dubrae inspired by Ader Error’s signature Tetris logo and custom-developed eyelets.

In addition to the sneaker, the collaboration also includes a collection of apparel and accessories comprising a blazer jacket, t-shirt, and cap—four distinct pieces that complete the lifestyle offering.

The company noted that this collaboration aims to breathe new life into classic pieces, presenting a “New Classic” that delivers fresh inspiration by bridging the past with the present under the theme of “Re-found.”

“The power of time lies in the depth of its value,” the Ader Error creative force behind the collaboration said in a statement. “Discovering and reviving heritage pieces to inspire our customers reflects Ader Error’s authentic approach. Through this, we aim to offer fresh perspectives and lead cultural trends. We hope that the ‘Re-found’ concept, developed in partnership with Converse, will provide new and unfamiliar experiences.”

This new collaboration follows the success of the duo’s first two releases, which sold out within minutes of launch and garnered widespread attention in the sneaker scene, the company said. The previous two launches centered around Converse’s signature Chuck Taylor silhouette.

The third global collaboration collection between Ader Error and Converse will be available starting June 26 with an online pre-launch on the Ader Error website. Following this, the collection will be released at Ader Error and Converse stores in South Korea.

Additionally, the collection will be available at global Converse retailers in the United States, Canada, China, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and other key markets.
