Queen Letizia of Spain joined her husband, King Felipe VI of Spain, for a visit to the municipality of Burela in Spain on Tuesday. The royal was dressed in a business casual look, opting for a blouse and trousers with a sensible and affordable pair of slingback mid-height pumps.

Letizia opted for Sezané’s Paula Babies style, which is made from a smooth, black patent leather material. The pumps feature a rounded toe design and classic mary jane style with buckles in the front of the foot.

To add some height, the shoes feature a patent leather-covered block heel measuring two inches. The shoes appear like ballet flats from the front, but are tied together by a slingback strap, revealing the heel of the foot.

The shoes also feature some light gold-finish brass buckles throughout, adding a touch of glamour, including on the two straps that go over the uppers. The shoes retail for $215 and are available in leopard print, patent red, camel, white, pale pink and more. Slingback heels and shoes have been a trend among celebrities for the past two years, following their massive popularity in the 1950s. The style gives traditional pumps and heels an elegant yet edgy twist, and continues to be a favorite that is often worn on red carpets and beyond.

The queen paired the look with fitted ankle-length pants in black, which she fastened with a black leather belt with a silver square buckle. She paired the pants with a striped puff sleeve top in white, which featured a rounded neckline and long sleeves. Queen Letizia is a fan of Sézane, and has worn the Paula Babies and other styles from the brand over the years.
