Israel ambassador to India Reuven Azar on Tuesday said Israel is in touch with the ministry of external affairs about possible requests for evacuation of Indians. In a media briefing, the ambassador also said Israel will continue to do what is within its capabilities to “degrade” Iran’s nuclear programme. He said it would be better if a diplomatic solution could be achieved to end the hostilities. tnn
