When Farah Khan recently visited Jaaved Jaaferi’s house for a new episode of her YouTube series, she was not only impressed by the actor’s elegantly decorated interiors and spacious balcony but also intrigued by his famous neighbour. During a relaxed tour of his chic Mumbai residence, Jaaved casually revealed that none other than Bollywood star Kriti Sanon lives next door, adding a surprising celebrity connection to the visit.

While giving Farah a tour, he gestured toward a wall and said, “Deewar ke uss paar is Kriti Sanon.” The surprise mention made Farah burst out laughing. Quick to respond, she teased, “To tu deewar phaand ke jaata hai Kriti Sanon ke ghar?” which made Jaaved smile at her playful comment.
The playful exchange continued. As Farah explored further, taking in the open design and breathtaking cityscape, she exclaimed, “Jaaved, what kind of house is this?” Then, with her signature humour, she joked, “Jaaved, tere se hi shaadi kar leni thi yaar,” prompting laughter and a heartfelt hug from Jaaved.
Jaaved was accompanied by his brother Naved Jafri and their longtime collaborator Ravil Behl, as the three fondly recalled their legendary dance reality show Boogie Woogie, which aired from 1996 to 2014 and remains cherished by fans. The episode was filled with nostalgic moments, lively conversations, and even some cooking fun — featuring recipes like mutton chaap and chicken biscuits shared by Jaaved’s chef.
Farah, who last directed the 2014 film Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has since shifted her focus to choreography and hosting roles, including her recent appearance on Celebrity MasterChef. She also choreographed a dance sequence for the movie Loveyaapa.
Jaaved, meanwhile, stays active with various OTT and film projects. He recently appeared in Inn Galiyon Mein and the JioHotstar web series Taaza Khabar. He is also gearing up for his return to the big screen with Dhamaal 4. Meanwhile, his son Meezaan Jafri is making his own mark in the industry, most recently starring in the comedy Nadaaniyan.
