The Chinese embassy in Israel on Tuesday issued an advisory urging all Chinese nationals in the country to leave immediately through land border crossings, especially via Jordan, as the security situation worsens due to conflict between Israel and Iran.

In a notice shared on the embassy’s official WeChat channel, the Chinese government warned that the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran had caused civilian casualties and damage to non-military infrastructure. Israeli airspace remains shut amid continued military operations.

“At present, the Israeli-Iranian conflict continues to escalate, with civilian facilities damaged and civilian casualties increasing, making the security situation even more severe,” the embassy wrote.

    CHINA CALLS FOR DE-ESCALATION

The advisory comes after a diplomatic appeal from Beijing for peace. China’s foreign ministry expressed deep concern about Israel’s strikes on Iran.

“We call for immediate measures to ease the tension, prevent greater turmoil in the region, and create conditions for resolving the issues through dialogue and negotiation,” the spokesperson said.

China has long advocated a peaceful resolution to Middle East tensions and has positioned itself as a neutral party seeking to mediate dialogue.

“If the conflict between Israel and Iran continues to escalate or even spill over, the other countries in the Middle East will inevitably bear the brunt. China will continue to maintain communication with relevant parties and promote talks for peace, so as to prevent more turmoil in the region,” the statement added.

On Saturday, China’s top diplomat Wang Yi held separate phone calls with his Iranian and Israeli counterparts. According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang reiterated Beijing’s stance that dialogue — not violence — is the only path forward.

TRUMP URGES EVACUATION AMID ISRAEL-IRAN CONFLICT

Israel continued its military strikes on Iran on the fourth day, bombing the headquarters of the Iranian state TV on Monday. Both sides inflicted losses in the exchange of missiles. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that Iran should have signed a deal over its nuclear ambitions, which could have prevented the missile attacks with Israel, while urging everyone to evacuate Tehran.
