Bigg Boss 17 fame, Arun Mashettey, is now in seventh heaven as he is all set to welcome his second child with his wife, Malak. For the unversed, Arun and Malak tied the knot on March 25, 2021, and the couple also has a daughter. Now, on June 16, 2025, Malak shared the good news with her husband, Arun.
Arun Mashettey becomes dad for the second time
Taking to his Instagram handle on June 16, 2025, Arun shared a video where he and his wife, Malak, are seen very excited as they are all set to welcome their little bundle of joy. The frame became more beautiful, as it gave a glimpse of their little daughter, Jury who was busy playing with a phone. The duo is on cloud nine as they are embracing parenthood for the second time. Sharing the good news video, Arun captioned it as:
“Alhamduillah For Everything. Kab 2 se 3 and 3 se chaar hogaye .”
Arun Mashettey’s wife, Malak once shared about her miscarriage when the former was in the Bigg Boss 17 house
Back in 2024, Arun Mashettey’s wife, Malak, entered the BB17 house during the family week. It was her emotional reunion with Arun. In the same episode, their little daughter, Jury also joined the couple. However, Malak came to the Bigg Boss 17 house with a piece of bad news, which was both shocking and saddening. Malak revealed to Arun that she had suffered a miscarriage while he was inside the house. According to a report by Tellychakkar, Arun’s wife, Malak, suffered a miscarriage during Diwali 2023. In an old interview with The Times Of India, Malak revealed that the TV show, Bigg Boss helped her to break the disheartening news to her husband. She also shared that she tried to comfort Arun as he was heartbroken. Talking more about her miscarriage, Malak said:
“Bigg Boss helped me to break the news of the miscarriage. I made him understand that the difficult time has passed. I have dealt with it and now you have to also get over it. It has happened, and now it has passed.”

In a past interview with Pinkvilla, Arun Mashettey revealed how he dealt with the tragic news of Malak’s miscarriage from his wife, Malak Mashettey. The Bigg Boss 17 fame mentioned that he was completely heartbroken. However, he mentioned how his wife, Malak, became his strength in the tough times and gave him the confidence to continue his game on Bigg Boss 17. In his words:
“When my wife informed me about the bad news, I was shattered and was asking god how much will I have to suffer. My wife became my strength and kept me strong through her words, ‘You’re in a game, you have to play good’. The pain was in my heart. Whenever I was alone, my wife’s words kept playing in my mind. I was heartbroken towards the end of the show.”
Further in the interview, Arun praised his wife, Malak for dealing with the miscarriage bravely. He also mentioned that it might be their destiny and God’s decision for which they had to suffer the tragic incident. Arun also shared that this incident made him decide to give more time to his family after his eviction from Bigg Boss 17.
