Arunabh Kumar, the founder of The Viral Fever (TVF), recently took to social media to honor his father on Father’s Day, reflecting on the profound influence his father has had on his life and career.

In his post, Kumar shared a touching message accompanied by a photograph of himself and his father, expressing gratitude for the values instilled in him. He wrote: From Having The Best One To / Trying to Be the best possible..Happy Fathers’ Day to me has started meaning something different since the time I became one… My father who started as a “Daakiya’ (Postman)& then bank clerk, took all the pain to give us the best education whether it meant taking loans & even after education when I decided to do something different, after some bit of counseling when he realised that my
heart lay elsewhere… again motivated me to follow my heart & treated TVF team like his own children..although he hates TV or any screen whatsoever

For instance, Permanent Roommates was remade in Telugu as CommitMental (2020), FLAMES was remade in Telugu as Tharagathi Gadhi Daati (2021), Hostel Daze had a Tamil remake titled Engga Hostel (2023) and a Telugu remake titled Hostel Days (2023), and Panchayat was remade in Tamil as Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam (2024) and in Telugu as Sivarapalli (2025).
