The world celebrated Father’s Day on June 15 with social media overflowing with touching tributes. Among them, Richa Chadha made sure her husband, Ali Fazal, felt special on his very first Father’s Day. The couple, who welcomed their daughter Zuneyra Ida Ali in 2024, commemorated the day as Richa shared sweet photos of Ali with their baby girl.

The next photo in the carousel is a touching family portrait of the three of them. Other pictures show Ali playing with Zuneyra and lovingly kissing her forehead. Richa also shared a sweet photo of herself with Ali, ending with a slightly blurry but heartfelt snapshot of her own father.
Along with the pictures, she wrote a heartfelt note praising Ali Fazal for excelling as a father. The actress said, “You’re acing it so far! And you better, you’ll become a reference point for men… So no pressure! But well done, @alifazal9! Happy first Father’s Day to you!”
She added, “And happy 12 years of Fukrey to everyone as well. That’s my dad, who doesn’t like being ‘outed’ as my dad. Father’s Day, like many other man-made festivals, is a marketing marvel originating in America. Chalega, hum gift nahi denge. Ok? Pita ji diwas.”
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal dated for some time before tying the knot in an intimate ceremony during the 2020 pandemic, followed by a celebration with friends and family in 2022. The couple joyfully announced their pregnancy in 2024 and welcomed their first child, daughter Zuneyra Ida Fazal, in July of the same year.
On the work front, Richa is actively involved with her production company, Pushing Buttons Studios. She is eagerly anticipating the second edition of Undercurrent Lab 2025, an initiative aimed at supporting women in filmmaking by offering real-world experience and specialized training to help them achieve their filmmaking dreams. Additionally, she looks forward to the release of Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai.
Ali Fazal is meanwhile gearing up for the release of Metro… In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. This modern-day anthology serves as a spiritual sequel to Basu’s 2007 hit, Life in a… Metro.
