Gauri Khan’s restaurant Torii in Mumbai features a private entrance exclusively for her husband Shah Rukh Khan and their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. In a conversation with SCREEN, Stefan Gadit, the head chef of the restaurant, shared details about this ‘secret door’ for the Khan family as well as their preferred menu items.

Stefan shared that Shah Rukh and his family frequently either eat at the restaurant or order food to enjoy at home when they’re unable to visit. He also mentioned the existence of a special ‘secret door’ exclusively for the Khans to use when entering and leaving. According to him, only a select few celebrities—and naturally, the Khans—have access to this private entrance. “The secret doorway isn’t open to everyone; it’s reserved for the Khans,” the chef explained.
In the same interview, the head chef mentioned that AbRam frequently orders food from the restaurant, while Suhana and Aryan often spend time there with their friends. He noted that Shah Rukh and Gauri’s youngest son enjoys the sushi, the actor prefers the lamb chops, and Gauri is a fan of the Thai curry. They also recently celebrated the birthday of Shah Rukh’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, at the restaurant.
Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent films were Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He is now working on Siddharth Anand’s movie King. The film will mark the theatrical debut of his daughter Suhana, who previously made her acting debut in Netflix’s The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Abhishek Bachchan is also part of the cast.
Gauri’s restaurant Torii launched last year on Valentine’s Day. The opening was also showcased on the reality show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, with guests including Sussanne Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh attending the event.
