In April 2025, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time. The duo welcomed their baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan, after 8 years of marriage. For the unversed, Sagarika and Zaheer tied the knot back in 2017. Now, on June 15, 2025, when people around are celebrating Father’s Day, the new mom, Sagarika, penned down a heartfelt note wishing the new daddy, Zaheer.

Taking to her Instagram handle, on June 15, 2025, actress, Sagarika Ghatge shared a heartfelt Father’s Day note for her husband, Zaheer Khan. With an emotional note, Sagarika attached a heartwarming picture of Zaheer and their baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan. For the unversed, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, Fatehsinh, on April 16, 2025. Now, on the occasion of Father’s Day, Fatehsinh’s mom wrote an emotional note praising how his father, Zaheer, looks after the entire family. In fact, Sagarika also wished that after their son grows up, he will read this note and become like his father, Zaheer. The note can be read as:
“I’m not the one to write captions, but today I am – because someday our son will read this, and he needs to know. He is so incredibly lucky to have you. The love you have for everyone, the way you’re always looking out for others, the grit, the resilience, the quiet strength – if he grows up to be even a little like you, he’ll be someone truly special… Our son has the best example right in front of him. Happy Fathers Day.”
Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan’s love story
Before meeting Sagarika, Zaheer was in a steady relationship with popular dancer and actress, Isha Sharvani. However, in 2012, the couple put an end to their relationship. After his breakup with Isha, Zaheer crossed paths with actress, Sagarika at a mutual friend’s party. It took no time for the duo to develop a special bond, but the couple had kept their relationship low-key. But, in Yuvraj Singh’s wedding with Hazel Keech, Sagarika and Zaheer appeared together for the first time in public.
Later on April 24, 2017, Sagarika Ghatge announced her engagement with cricketer, Zaheer and on November 23, 2017, the couple tied the knot. The duo had an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple had an interfaith marriage and Sagarika once shared how her father enquired about Zaheer before their marriage. In a past interview with Hauterrfly, Sagarika was quoted as saying:
“When my father got to know about it, he had messaged Zaheer’s coach, Anshuman Gaekwad, because he’s related to us. Kaka’s some relation or the other. So, my father actually got his background check done very properly. And all he’s like, ‘Oh, he’s one of the nicest cricketers.’ That is all everyone told him.”
Whenever it came to their personal life, both Sagarika and Zaheer wanted to keep it private. In fact, just like initial dating days, the couple also kept the pregnancy news as a hush-hush event. It was only on April 16, 2025, that the duo shared a glimpse of their baby boy and announced his name.
