The actress underwent surgery that lasted for 14 hours, and after 11 days, she was discharged. Shoaib Ibrahim took to his vlogs and shared updates about the same, along with the details about the needle around the actress’ neck after her surgery, which left her fans worried.
Shoaib Ibrahim talks about Dipika Kakar’s discharge from the hospital
Taking to his YouTube vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim shared an update about Dipika’s discharge from the hospital 11 days after her 14-hour-long liver tumour removal surgery. The clip featured an adorable moment when Dipika reunited with her son, Ruhaan, days after her surgery. Shoaib mentioned that the last few days have been extremely hard for him and his family members. Shoaib extended his gratitude to his fans and said that only one part had been done and that a lot of things still lay ahead. Shoaib can be quoted as saying:
“She got discharged after 11 days and has come for a check-up. These past few days have been difficult for me and my family, but we are thankful for everyone’s prayers and support. This is just one part; a lot of things are still ahead.”
In the same clip, an emotional Dipika Kakar was seen thanking her doctors and hugging the nurse who took care of her. She further mentioned how prayers helped her to come to terms with the tough times. Dipika Kakar can be quoted as saying:
“The fact that a lot of you took that two minutes of time, to read namaz and pray for me means a lot. You have no idea how motivating it was for us in these tough times.”

In the same vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim talked about the needle around Dipika Kakar’s neck that her fans noticed and were worried about the same. Talking about it, Dipika revealed that a lot of people have shown concern about the needle around her neck, which is actually an IV. Shoaib shared that it was in her neck as her hands got a bit puffy, which would have hurt her if would be done there. Thus, the doctors had suggested that they would go for the neck only. In Shoaib’s words:
“A lot of you showed concerns about the needle around Dipika’s neck, it is actually IV. Usually, doctors put it on your hand but at times of surgery, they insert it on the neck. After she was out of ICU, the doctor suggested her to keep it as her hands had become puffy and would hurt her.”

Taking to her IG handle, Dipika Kakar shared an emotional post. In the photo, she looked a bit tired but all positive. Along with the photo, she penned an emotional note, wherein she mentioned that her tumour had been removed, but she had been trying to be strong as it was only one part of the operation. Dipika stated that there are a lot of things to come, but she is positive about overcoming them. Dipika shared that 11 days had been really tough for her, but with the warmth and positivity around, she could finally overcome the struggles.
The actress further extended her thanks to the doctors and sisters of Kokilaben Hospital, and the amazing service she was provided, which helped her to have a speedy recovery. To end her note, Dipika thanked her fans for the love and prayers they showered on her. She also requested them to keep her in their prayers so that her further treatments could go smoothly and she could find her strength back.
