Aamir Khan has been popularly called as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ in Bollywood. He has a reputation for going to extremes when it comes to choosing a script and preparing for a movie. Recently, the actor revealed that during his 60th birthday party, he let himself loose and got drunk. Aamir said that he had no recollection of the day and had a blackout buzz. The actor has seen the photos and videos from his birthday party on March 14, 2025, but has no memory at all.
Aamir Khan said that everyone insisted him to have a drink
Talking about his 60th birthday bash in an interview with Mashable India, Aamir Khan revealed how he got drunk. The actor said that he doesn’t drink much nowadays, but on his birthday, everyone insisted on having a drink with him. He said that it was supposed to be a memorable day with his friends and family. Aamir Khan said that he doesn’t restrict himself much and he is an extreme person. His body was also not used to it since he had given up drinking a lot. The actor revealed that after two hours into the party he had started feeling a buzz. In his own words, Aamir said:
“But that day, everyone insisted that I have a drink with them because it was a special occasion and I gave in. With me, the point is that I’m not someone who restricts himself; I’m an extreme person. Because I haven’t been drinking much, my body wasn’t used to it. We started at around 7 pm, and by 9 pm, I knew that I was buzzing.”
Aamir Khan said that he had no memory of the previous evening after he woke up
Aamir Khan stated in the interview that when he woke up in the morning after his 60th birthday bash, he had no memory of the previous evening and everything that had happened at the party. The actor revealed that he saw the photos and videos of the party and was told by his family that everyone said nice things about him. However, Aamir has no memory of everything that transpired in the evening. He said in the interview:
“When I woke up the next morning, I had no memory of the previous evening. There were videos and photos, and they told me that everyone said nice things about me, but I didn’t remember anything. It was a blackout.”
Aamir Khan said that he was behaving ‘normally’ around others at the party and also reacted to the speech. But when he saw the photos and videos, he did not even remember how he reacted to the speeches. Talking about his memory blackout, Aamir said:
“I was conducting myself normally with everyone during the party, but the next day, when I woke up, I had zero memories of my 60th birthday celebration. There were pictures and videos from the day, but I had no memory at all, of how I reacted to the people when they were giving speeches. It was a clean blackout.”
