Actor Harshvardhan Rane recently announced the wrap-up of his upcoming romantic film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Sonam Bajwa as the female lead, with a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video capturing the celebratory moment. However, what started as a joyful wrap party turned unexpectedly tense when a freak pyrotechnic mishap took place on set. Fortunately, the incident ended without any injuries.

The video, shared on Rane’s social media, shows the cast and crew, including director Milap Milan Zaveri, cutting a celebratory cake and lighting fireworks to mark the end of the shoot. But mid-celebration, a sudden burst of helium balloons caused a momentary panic, as seen in the footage. Addressing the incident in his caption, Harshvardhan Rane wrote, “You know God is is on your films side when a mishap doesnt touch you… Thankfully everyone was safe today early morning when the whole crew shot 5 night shifts in a row and was celebrating the #Wrap of “ek deewane ki DEEWANIYAT” when a huge bunch of helium baloons burst 8-9 feet behind us! Accidents and hiccups chose to keep distance from us as the guardian angels chose us and this film”.
The video has since garnered attention not only for the mishap but also for the sense of camaraderie and relief seen among the cast and crew. Fans appreciated Rane’s transparency and the team’s resilient spirit after back-to-back night shoots.
Coming to the film, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and produced by Amul V. Mohan and Anshul Mohan under Vikir Motion Pictures—the team behind The Sabarmati Report – Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat promises to be a heartfelt romantic drama.
