Brad Pitt admitted to he’s made mistakes in his life after he and Angelina Jolie finalized their drawn-out divorce.
The “Fight Club” actor got candid about having to navigate through life’s ups and downs while chatting with “Entertainment Tonight” at the “F1” premiere in Mexico City Monday night.
“No matter the mistake, you know, you just learn from [it] and move on,” he told the outlet when asked what’s making him “feel grounded.”
“It’ll lead to the next success,” the 61-year-old dad of six, who showed off his new buzz cut, added.
Pitt, who is now dating Ines de Ramon, said that at his age, he sees “how important it is to surround yourself with the people you know, the people you love, the people that love you back.”
“Friends, family, and that’s it,” he added. “From there, we get to go make things. It’s a pretty simple, I think, equation.”
Pitt’s comments come two weeks after he broke his silence on finalizing his split from Jolie, 50, after eight long years.
When GQ asked the “Meet Joe Black” star if he felt “relief” when he and the “Maleficent” actress legally settled their split at the end of last year, he replied: “No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing.”
“Just something coming to fruition. Legally,” he added.
The exes settled their divorce in December 2024, more than eight years after Jolie had initially filed for the dissolution of their marriage in September 2016.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” the mom of six’s lawyer, James Simon, told Page Six at the time.
“This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
The “Maria” star’s legal team filed court documents stating that she had waived “any right to receive” spousal support from Pitt “forever.”
The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars share six kids together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
None of the children are on speaking terms with Pitt and several of them have even opted to drop his last name.
