Ananya has always been criticised for being a star kid. A picture of the actress went viral on Reddit, where she was seen showing off a glimpse of her epic transformation. The snap hinted at the actress getting her lip fillers done, which entirely changed her look. She was seen dressed in what looked like a bikini kind of attire, and was pouting, and her lips looked swollen.

Some users wrote that she looked like Sharman Joshi and a mixture of Disha Patani. One Redditor commented, “She looked pretty and young already. Not even aged, where they had to feel young.” Another user wrote, “She was looking just fine in the bts pics from a few days ago. How did she manage to do this… in Croatia? In between shoots?” A Redditor even commented, “Not just lips but also looks like she’s got her cheeks pulled, like facial structure changed.. she looked better before whatever she got done to herself.” Some social media users also felt that Ananya looked like an alien. One user shared that she lost weight, so her face looked thin and also compared the actress to the character, ‘Supandi’.
When Ananya Panday opened up about claims of having butt surgery
Ananya is often trolled for her physical appearance and a while back she was also accused of reportedly getting a butt surgery. It was on the Lily Singh podcast that Ananya shared about how people often made fun of her and also body-shamed her. She shared that she has been immune to the criticism and shared:
“I feel like you can never win. I was 18 or 19 when I started out, and I was really skinny. Everyone used to kind of make fun about that. They were like, ‘Oh, you have chicken legs. You look like a matchstick. You are like a flat-screen TV. You don’t have tits. You don’t have an ass.’ So that was what it was first.”
Ananya also admitted that now that she was growing up, she tried to accept her body. The actress revealed that people would always have an opinion about any size or shape her body is and will always have something to comment. She did agree that as she was growing up, her body had been filling up. Ananya shared:
“They were like, ‘Oh, there’s no way, she got her butt done and she had done this.’ It’s constantly like… anything you do. No matter what shape you are, no matter what size you are. People will constantly have something to say and criticise especially with women. I don’t feel like they do that to men at all. The hate that comes towards women is a lot more.”
