YouTuber, Nischay Malhan, commonly known as “Triggered Insaan”, tied the knot with his long-time partner, Ruchika Rathore, in a private ceremony on June 9, 2025. The couple later shared photos online, showing them dressed in traditional attire, Nischay in a cream sherwani and Ruchika in a red lehenga. The images immediately caught fan attention across social media platforms like Instagram and Reddit.

The wedding pictures of Nischay Malhan and Ruchika Rathore went viral in no time, with fans loving the pictures. Recently, after the wedding pictures have gone viral, social media influencer, Sufi Motiwala reacted to the pictures, giving a mixed opinion with appreciating a few things and criticising a few things. He commented on their outfits, makeup, and wedding decorations. While some people appreciated his honest opinion, some felt it was not needed, even when he was blocked by Nischay Malhan. In his video, he said:
“Triggered Insaan has just gotten married and while he has blocked me I’m in my congenial era as everybody knows. I’m not going to lie, it does feel like this is the first option you see when you google wedding outfits. But I do love the flowers falling and the bride, she’s mug, it’s muggy in here. I’m not necessarily sure why he is wearing sunglasses. I love that they’re decked in jewellery. And it looks gorgeous, eight out of ten. It’s not that hard being nice, so be nice. So be nice to me when my show comes in two days”.
Why did Nischay Malhan block Sufi Motiwala?
There is no such confirmed news on why Nischay blocked Sufi but after this video, speculation started on why Nischay had blocked Sufi on Instagram. Many believe this happened because Sufi’s tone was seen as critical or insensitive. Supporters of the couple called his comments disrespectful, saying it wasn’t appropriate to judge a wedding that held emotional value.

Netizens reaction on Sufi’s video seemed very one sided. Most of the fans came in support of Nischay and Ruchika and slammed Sufi in the comment section across Instagram and Reddit. Users across platforms felt that Sufi’s criticism was unnecessary on such wedding pictures which were filled with emotions and love. On the reel, one user commented, “You’re blocked for a reason”, another user wrote, “Drama”, another user penned, “It’s their wedding, for god’s sake be happy for someone and stop judging them specially on their big day”.
Sufi Motiwala’s upcoming show, Traitors
Towards the end of the review, Sufi mentioned and asked people to watch his upcoming show, Traitors, which starts on June 12, 2025, with new episodes every Thursday at 8 PM. Traitors is a new reality show hosted by Karan Johar. The format involves 20 celebrity contestants, including Sufi, who will live in a grand palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Among these contestants, three will secretly be “traitors”, who are assigned to eliminate others one by one, while the rest must figure out who the traitors are and vote them out before it’s too late. If all traitors are caught, the remaining players win the prize money. But if even one traitor remains till the end, that person walks away with the grand prize of Rs. 1 crore.
