Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moosewala was not only an artist but also a strong political leader in Punjab. The late singer was influential and was at the peak of his career when he was shot dead by assailants at the mere age of 28. Sidhu was brutally murdered in broad daylight on May 29, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. in Jawaharke village in the Mansa district of Punjab. The duo met in a professional setting, where Amandeep used to assist Sidhu in his work. Gradually, they became friends, and as fate had its way, the duo fell in love.
A report from the TOI also suggests that Amandeep’s father is a senior Akali Dal leader and worked as a close ally of Sidhu Moosewala. Sidhu and Amandeep’s love gradually intensified, and the duo decided to take their relationship to the next level. Henceforth, the couple got engaged in early 2022.

Sidhu and Amandeep got engaged in early 2022 in an intimate gathering. Their ceremony took place in Sangreri, Punjab. Talking about the couple’s wedding, Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, revealed the duo was supposed to tie the knot soon after the Punjab legislative elections. Talking about the wedding, Charan added:
“Just a little more time, then he will not be single. We are making preparations for their wedding, which will take place this year after the elections.”

In a tragic turn of events, Sidhu Moosewala met an untimely death. Amandeep, deeply affected by this loss, has chosen to honour Sidhu’s memory by living with his parents in Mansa Village. She has solemnly vowed never to remarry or entertain the thought of a new relationship. Amandeep’s decision reflects her unwavering love and dedication to Sidhu.
