Orlando Bloom brought a special guest to his “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” appearance amid rumors that his relationship with Katy Perry is on the rocks.
The actor held his dog Biggie Smalls during the Tuesday interview, joking that he did so because he’s “emotional.”
When Jimmy Fallon asked whether the 48-year-old brings the pup “everywhere,” Bloom replied, “He’s a real emotional support animal because I’m very emotional right now.”
The host, 50, jokingly agreed, “You really are. Every time I see you.”
The duo chatted further about the “Troy” star’s pet, agreeing he “looks fake” and is the “whisper of a dog” Bloom needed while “travel[ing] so much.”
Bloom adopted the teacup poodle last year, and the canine made a cute cameo on the “Today” show Monday.
The “Carnival Row” alum and Perry have shared many dogs since they became an item in 2016.
Bloom did not mention his fiancée in Monday’s interview despite rampant rumors about their alleged relationship woes making headlines earlier that same day.
We hear that the pair, who got engaged in 2019, are “over.”
A source told Page Six that “they are waiting till her tour is over before they split.”
Perry, notably, embarked on her “Lifetimes” tour in April, which will wrap on Dec. 7.
People reported Tuesday that the singer’s negative tour reviews, as well as her “143” album flop, have added “tension” and “stress” to her and Bloom’s romance.
A source alleged to Us Weekly that the pair have “grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore.”
Bloom and the Grammy nominee were set to wed in 2020 but delayed their nuptials due to the COVID-19 pandemic — and have not revealed subsequent ceremony plans.
The couple shares daughter Daisy, 4, while the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star also co-parents son Flynn, 14, with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.
Perry, for her part, was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
