NEW DELHI: Two suspected terrorists wearing combat uniforms were reportedly seen in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba, according to villagers, prompting search operations by the authorities on Wednesday. The operation is ongoing, but officials say the suspects have not yet been located.According to reports, some villagers spotted the suspected individuals near a school in Nud village during the night and promptly alerted the police.Officials said joint police and army teams swiftly cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation early in the morning. The region has been on high alert, especially since the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 on April 22. The armed forces had launched Operation Sindoor targeting nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The operation eliminated nearly 100 terrorists.
