According to a TikTok, the young influencer shared in 2023 from her trip to the Netherlands, she had captioned her clip from the night out as “Just a Dominican girl and German girl in Amsterdam.” However, if Ancestry.org is to be believed, Amaya’s surname, ‘Espinal’, has Spanish and Catalan origins. Nonetheless, there are several public figures in the Dominican Republic with the same last name as Amaya. Some of them include MLB player, Santiago Espinal and politician, Flavio Dario Espinal.

Talking about Amaya Espinal’s life outside the Love Island villa, she has garnered ample attention for her vibrant social media presence. She recently shared stunning photos from a getaway in Turks and Caicos, where she was seen glowing in a baby blue bikini at the Ritz-Carlton recently.
