Speaking about the look and feel of her character, Sara revealed, “As far as the look is concerned, much like everything else, it’s Basu da’s brainchild… and I think it definitely is not glamorous… it’s real & I feel like my character in this film is just an easy breezy girl that’s just figuring her life out. And I haven’t been given the opportunity to kind of showcase that in an urban but real sense before, you know.”

This insight suggests a grounded and authentic approach to storytelling, in keeping with Anurag Basu’s signature style – introspective, character-driven, and emotionally resonant. Metro… In Dino, which draws inspiration from themes explored in Basu’s 2007 film Life in a… Metro delves into urban life, relationships, and the emotional isolation that often comes with it.
