Last night, Blake Lively joined the likes of Robert DeNiro, Jon Hamm, and Sofia Coppola in celebrating Chanel’s 18th annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner. It should come as no surprise that The Odeon was overflowing with celebrities in head-to-toe Chanel, but Lively’s look gave us plenty of summer inspiration.
Lively opted for a sweet interpretation of the sheer trend in a white lace midi-length dress. The empire-waisted dress featured white florals across the bust, while the body was fashioned in a hole-ridden crochet with specs of glitter.

Always an eclectic accessorizer, Lively added several ancillary pieces to accompany her summery dress. Along with her heap of shimmering earrings and rings, she added a pair of bejeweled sandals with an ankle strap. Over her shoulders, Lively draped a blue chore jacket with a white collar and cuffs. But the real pièce de résistance was Lively’s bag: a Chanel Scarab Minaudière from the house’s 2019 Métiers d’Art show in Egypt. (The bag was previously sold on 1stDibs for $30,000; another is currently listed for over $51,000.)
