With the teaser of War 2 making waves, Jr NTR’s striking screen presence has become one of the most talked-about elements of the highly anticipated action film. From his intense expressions to his rugged look, the styling of NTR’s character has caught the attention of fans across the country. Leading Bollywood stylist and costume designer Anaita Shroff Adajania, who is designing for NTR for the first time, has shared insights into the thought process behind his much-appreciated look.

Adajania, known for crafting iconic looks in Indian cinema, says that working with Jr NTR on War 2 was an eye-opening experience. “Working with NTR for the first time on War 2 was a discovery and an absolute joy,” she said and went on to add, “He walks into a room and there’s this instant shift, like a current of energy that runs through everyone. It’s not loud or performative—it’s magnetic.”
Speaking about how the wardrobe was designed to reflect NTR’s character, Anaita shared, “With his look, I wanted to ground him—keep it real—but still retain that undeniable strength and masculinity he carries so effortlessly. There’s a rawness to his presence, like a human machine operating with purpose. That translated into a wardrobe built on power and simplicity: leather, rugged jackets, strong silhouettes.”
She further explained that NTR’s styling was kept intentionally minimal to reflect the seriousness and determination of his character. “There’s no fuss, no excess—just a man who means business. His styling reflects that: direct, impactful, and unapologetically no-nonsense.”
War 2 is produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films and directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film features Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan in high-octane roles, with Kiara Advani playing the female lead. Set for release on August 14, 2025, the film will hit theatres in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. With Jr NTR’s look becoming a talking point among fans and industry watchers alike, War 2 is already building strong buzz as one of the major action releases of the year.
