Riding high on pop culture relevance, the Uttar Pradesh Police has once again captured attention online, this time by giving a clever road safety spin to the recently released Bollywood film Housefull 5. Known for its quirky humour and slapstick chaos, the film reportedly features two different endings in films titled Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B. Drawing inspiration from this, UP Police released a public safety post that’s both witty and hard-hitting.
UP Police gives a safety twist to Housefull 5’s dual endings in safety campaign: “Book your climax wisely”
On June 9, UP Police’s official social media handles shared a creative poster featuring two contrasting images of the same man—one with a helmet (5A) and another with visible head injuries (5B). The campaign cleverly reads: “When the road gives a Housefull of surprizes… Book your climax wisely.” The caption accompanying the post said, “Same cast, different ending. When you’re out on the road remember it’s your choice how it ends.”
The timing of the post couldn’t be more strategic. Housefull 5 hit cinemas on June 6, and its buzz over having two endings has been trending among fans. Leveraging this moment, the UP Police managed to not only spread an important message about wearing helmets but also engage with a younger, cinema-loving demographic in an effective, shareable way.

The image strikes a stark contrast between safety and negligence. While “5A” shows a man protected by a helmet, “5B” reveals the same man injured and bandaged, driving home the point that life, unlike movies, doesn’t offer retakes.
Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that before the release, Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report about its multiple endings. Later, the writer and producer of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala, confirmed the same. He said, “With Housefull 5, we wanted to take a bold creative swing that hasn’t been done before internationally for any thriller film. The idea of having multiple endings, multiple experiences, has been with me for 30 years. Since I wanted to make Housefull 5 a thriller comedy, there couldn’t have been a better way to execute my idea of having multiple endings than this.”
