Keke Palmer opted for a classic pair of heels to complement her vintage Chanel minidress at the 2025 BET Awards, held on Monday in Los Angeles.

Palmer wore pointed-toe patent leather pumps in black, a departure from her often eye-grabbing shoe choices. The shoe featured a low-cut vamp with a slight V-shape that helped elongate her legs, and a sharp heel, measuring around four to five inches.

Palmer paired the glossy heels with a navy minidress from Chanel’s fall 1993 collection. Her dress featured a deep V-neck halter design, a sheer top covered by sequins that were also added to the hem of the short skirt. The dress also featured a fitted bodice with some ruching, accentuating her waist. A short tulle train, which reached down to her calves, was added to the back of the dress.

Palmer, who is one of the presenters of the BET Awards 2025, was styled by Molly Dickson, who also works with Sydney Sweeney and Sadie Sink.

BET is celebrating its 25th annual BET Awards this year, honoring achievements in music, entertainment, sports, and movies, while recognizing those who contribute to Black culture. This year, the ceremony is being hosted by Kevin Hart, and stars like Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Snoop Dogg and Kirk Franklin are being honored with the Ultimate Icon Award for their decades of groundbreaking contributions to the industry.

Kendrick Lamar leads with 10 nominations, followed by Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla with six nominations each. A star-studded list of presenters includes Stevie Wonder, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Quinta Brunson, Kerry Washington, and Keke Palmer. The ceremony airs live on BET, and will also be broadcast on MTV, MTV2, Pop, Logo, CMT, Paramount Network, and NAN on Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
