India Today’s Akshita Nandagopal reports on the Axiom 4 Mission launch, featuring Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla as the pilot, from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. The mission, a joint venture between Axiom Space, NASA, ISRO, and the European Space Agency, is set to launch from Kennedy Space Center on June 10. The crew will conduct over 60 scientific experiments during their 14-day stay on the International Space Station. This marks India’s return to manned space missions after 45 years, following Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma’s 1984 mission.
