Honey Singh, who has never stepped back from sharing his views on controversial issues, recently shared a one-word reaction to Badshah’s getting trolled over his Dua Lipa remark. The latter had expressed his desire to have babies with Dua Lipa. After getting trolled for the comment, he gave an explanation and mentioned that it was one of the best comments one can give to a girl. Sharing this reaction to the same, Badshah penned:
“Genius”
Honey Singh didn’t directly share the post. Instead, reacted to a news article about the singer’s justification with some laughing emojis. Fans were quick to interpret that it was a sarcastic dig at the rapper and his old viral.
What comments did Badshah make about Dua Lipa?
The whole controversy began when Badshah held a Q and A session with his fans on his X handle. While answering one question, the rapper mentioned that instead of collaborating on movies, he would like to have babies with her. The comment instantly ignited the fury of netizens, who considered it inappropriate, weird and disrespectful. After increasing backlash, Badshah shared another post to justify his comment. He claimed that it was one of the most beautiful comments a person can give to a woman they admire. At the same time, the Tareefan singer wrote:
“I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi tumhari soch saamne aayi hai.”

The conflict between Honey Singh and Badshah goes back to the time they were starting to make a place for themselves in the industry. They used to be a part of the same music crew, Mafia Mundeer. However, they parted ways due to some creative differences and gradually a cold war took place between the two. For a decade, the rappers used to make diss tracks against each other and took sarcastic digs in interviews. Badshah tried to end his feud with Honey Singh in 2024, but the latter had no intention to mend their bond.
