Olivia Rodrigo had a surprise for fans during the Governors Ball Music festival on Saturday night: special guest David Byrne

The Talking Heads band member joined the Grammy winner on stage to perform a rendition of his band’s 1983 hit “Burning Down the House.”

The two musicians somewhat matched during their Gov Ball performance, with Rodrigo sporting an all-red bra and short set while Byrne wore a white T-shirt and red overalls. Rodrigo and Byrne danced (and ran) around the stage together while taking turns singing lines from the track after the festival was postponed due to weather.

After embarking on her sold-out, 95-date GUTS World Tour, Rodrigo has been headlining festival after festival. In a few weeks, she’ll be in the U.K. to headline Glastonbury 2025, and later this summer, the “bad idea right?” singer will make her Lollapalooza debut

Notably, “Burning Down the House” peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the year of its release, making it the highest charting track for the rock band. The song, too, earned the Talking Heads a Grammy nom at the 26th annual awards ceremony.

Earlier this week, the band released the long-awaited music video for “Psycho Killer,” starring Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan.
