Akshay Kumar as a popular Bollywood actor, is known for his comedy antics on and off the screen. He is well-known for his comic roles in movies that have become cult classics. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, he also has a reputation for pulling pranks on cast and crew members of any film that he is working on. However, recently public’s beloved ‘Khiladi Kumar’ pulled a smart yet risky trick on the public itself. Despite his immense popularity, Akshay ventured onto the crowded streets of Bandra, Mumbai and interviewed people undercover to get first-hand reviews from them for his newly released film, Housefull 5.

Akshay Kumar posted a video on his Instagram handle that is as shocking as it is hilarious. He revealed that he felt like donning the killer mask from Housefull 5 and interviewing people coming out of a theatre in Bandra who had just seen Housefull 5. Clueless to his real identity, a flock of people can be seen either giving him honest reviews or ignoring him. Apart from him, there were also other men (presumably from his own team) in the same mask asking for reviews from people so that Akshay Kumar did not look out of place with his getup. Along with the mask the actor was dressed in a simple shirt with stripes and jeans.
Akshay Kumar said that he was about to be recognised at the end
Akshay Kumar’s voice was muffled by the mask, which could be the reason why most people could not recognise him. One interviewee laughed and pointed at his mask and said that he was wearing the same mask as the villain in the movie. No one recognised the actor, but the end of the video shows a woman with a big smile holding up her phone and recording the actor taking interviews. She was sitting on a bike, and the man sitting in front of her also seemed to be looking at the masked Housefull 5 actor very intently. The video stops after this, and in the caption, Akshay Kumar revealed that he was going to be caught in the end, but he left before that could happen. In the post, his caption read:
“Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people coming out of the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today. Pakda jaane wala thaa end mein but bhaag gaya us se pehle. Mast experience.”

Netizens flooded Akshay Kumar’s recent post with comments. One said that only AK could have done this. Meanwhile, another commenter pointed out that there were no cuts in the video, and it was a fair public review. To note, almost all the people that Akshay Kumar interviewed echoed the same opinion that they loved the movie and it was a good watch. Some users commented that all the people in the video must be regretting now for either not recognising him or ignoring him.
