Badshah finally broke his silence amid the backlash to his controversial remark. For the unversed, recently, Badshah replied to a fan that he wanted to ‘make babies with Dua Lipa.’ Soon after the Indian rapper made the comment on his X handle (formerly Twitter), the internet has gone a frenzy. Now, Badshah took to his X handle (firmerly Twitter) and gave a clarification for making such a statement. Without apologising, Badshah wrote:
“I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi tumhari soch saamne aayi hai.”
Badshah’s controversial comment on Dua Lipa
For the unversed, on May 6, 2025, Badshah took his X handle (formerly Twitter) and wrote “Dua Lipa” with a red heart emoji. After Badshah made the tweet, one curious fan commented on whether the duo was coming up with some collab or not. But to everyone’s utter dismay, Badshah replied that he would rather make babies with her. Badshah’s comment can be read as:

Here is the perfect example.” Another user commented, “Rehne de bhai woh aukat ke bahar hai.” Making fun of the Indian rapper, another user wrote, “Sad that you can only dream to be with her.”

Recently, Badshah has been breaking the headlines for his drastic weight loss. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Indian rapper shared a couple of pictures on May 22, 2025. Since the photos got posted, the rapper’s fans have been going crazy after seeing his drastic weight loss transformation. Many fans and friends gave him compliments for his new looks, while some criticised him. Earlier, Badshah opened up about his weight loss journey in a conversation with Shilpa Shetty. In his words:
“I had many reasons for dropping weight. We did no shows during the lockdown. The shows then abruptly began to open. When I got up on stage, I knew I didn’t have the stamina. My job requires me to be active for approximately 120 minutes when performing on stage. I didn’t have the stamina; I started panting after just 15 minutes. As a performer, I have to give my best. That was a major reason.”
