It was on June 3, 2024, when Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, were blessed with a baby girl. She was born in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital and after the birth of Varun’s daughter, her grandfather, David Dhawan, revealed to everyone of the joyous announcement. Varun on the sets of Amitabh Bachchan-hosted, Kaun Banega Crorepati revealed that he had named his baby girl, Lara. Time passed away quickly, and little Lara turned a year old on June 3, 2025. Now, an unseen private video from her intimate birthday bash has surfaced on social media, which is all things cute.

Varun and Natasha’s daughter Lara’s first birthday celebration was a cosy one. She was seen wearing a beige-hued frock with white socks. The private birthday party of little Lara had decoration of fairytale theme. There were fairy lights, and the table had assorted dishes like bakery products, sweets and a tiered birthday cake that had a candle. The clip showcased Varun and Natasha blowing the birthday candle together. Varun was also seen giving a sweet kiss to his daughter as he cut the birthday cake.
The clip showcased their closest friends with their tiny tots and family members. It was a full-on on intimate birthday celebration, and it looked like Lara’s first birthday party took place at her house.

Varun played the role of a great father in the thriller movie, Baby John. Varun had earlier spoken on embracing fatherhood and shared that his wife, Natasha, is scarier than him and shared missing major milestones of his daughter, Lara. Varun, in an interview with India Today, had shared how he was not there to see his baby eating her first solid food as he had work commitments. In the words of Varun:
“My wife is scarier. A woman has a more protective instinct after childbirth. For me, she is the superhero, and I am learning from her. I have not had time to spend with my baby. My baby just started eating solid food, and Natasha sent me a video of it. I was so upset that I couldn’t witness that first time.”
Varun had also shared that he does duties for his baby along with his wife, Natasha. When he was asked if he had the duty of changing diapers, Varun shared that he already had training in the same because of his dog, Joey.

Varun, earlier in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, shared which movie he would want his daughter, Lara, to watch first when she grows up. The actor shared that the first movie he thinks she could watch was Student Of The Year. The actor shared that it was an easy watch for her, and his sentiment spoke about the movie that was his and Alia’s Bollywood debut. Varun had also shared that his daughter, Lara, had met his co-star from Student Of The Year, Alia Bhatt’s daughter and shared that his daughter is very small. Varun and Alia’s chemistry was crackling in Student Of The Year.
