Queen Letizia of Spain suited up for another royal engagement in Madrid on Thursday. The royal attended the Board of Trustees of the Students Residence (Residencia de Estudiantes), posing for photos and speaking with representatives.

For the special outing, Queen Letizia opted for a linen suited look courtesy of Mango, a brand the Spanish royal has worn on several previous occasions. The suited look featured a double-breasted blazer with a straight design.

The blazer included sharp, notch lapels with a V-neck collar. The long sleeves included buttoned cuffs. Two pockets with flaps were featured on the double-breasted blazer at the front and near the waist. The blazer was finished off with double button fastening and inner lining.

The slightly oversized blazer coordinated with Queen Letizia’s linen trousers, which featured a wide-leg silhouette and tailoring. The Spanish royal wore a black blouse beneath her double-breasted blazer and coordinated the piece with black patent leather shoes featuring a slight heel.

Founded in 1984 in Barcelona by Isak Andic and Nahman Andic, Mango is a brand Queen Letizia often returns to for royal power-suiting moments. In December 2024, the Spanish royal wore another grey Mango suit as a subtle way to pay homage to founder Isak Andic, who died at the age of 71 that same month.

Queen Letizia also wore a pepper-gray, wool three-piece Mango suit in February for a board meeting of the FAD Youth Foundation (Foundation Against Drug Addiction) organization.

Powering suiting among contemporary royal women is thanks to trailblazing fashion icons like Princess Diana, who wore a Catherine Walker suit with a Hackett waistcoat to an event in April 1988 and continued to push fashion boundaries with menswear and tailoring, which has seen a global resurgence.
