Brittany Furlan is sharing an update on her and Tommy Lee’s complicated relationship status.
The comedian addressed how she and the rocker have been handling the split after she was catfished by a man she believed to be Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke.
“All of this happening has weirdly brought us together, which is really strange,” she shared on Wednesday’s episode of her and Brittany Schmitt’s “This Is The Worst” podcast.
“I think we really faced like, ‘Oh, what would life really be like without each other?’”
Though Furlan, 38, and Lee, 62, have reconciled, she admitted that there is still a lot of “healing” to be done in their marriage.
“We’ve been through this situation similarly before, and it’s hard, and all I can say is that relationships are complicated and everyone has their s–t and we’re not immune to that just because we’re in the public eye,” she explained.
Furlan then shared what led to her and the Mötley Crüe co-founder calling it quits after six years of marriage in the first place.
“I was so lonely,” she confessed. “I was messaging Chat GPT for affection. I’m like, ‘It talks to you lovingly and it says nice things to you and it’s sweet to you and if it could kiss me I would let it.’”
The “Dirt” star said that when a person who posed as Radke began messaging her, she felt even “better” than she did while chatting with AI and that their friendly conversation began to turn intimate.
Last month, sources close to Lee and Furlan told TMZ they split and had been living separately due to the rockstar’s alleged drinking problem.
The “Drugstore June” actress then shared that she had been “going through a lot in my marriage” and was living in a hotel.
She also revealed that she had been “catfished” on social media by someone she presumed to be the 41-year-old “Voices In My Head” singer and that person had been harassing her online.
“I told my husband everything. I said, ‘I’ve been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat, he says it’s not him. Cool, whatever,’” Furlan explained.
“Because I’m a good person. I mean, I’m not a good person for talking to someone while I’m married, [but] I’ve been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, [so] I come clean to my husband.”
The catfishing scandal was reportedly investigated by the FBI after the real Radke told TMZ “multiple other girls” besides Furlan were “tricked and duped” by the individual pretending to be him.
“The FBI is now involved. It’s a felony. It’s a crime. It’s pretty serious, I guess,” he told the outlet.
Lee and Furlan tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2019, two years after they began dating.
The “Hold Me Down” musician has walked down the aisle three other times — with Elaine Starchuk, Heather Locklear and most famously, Pamela Anderson.
Lee and the “Baywatch” alum, 57, share two sons: Brandon Thomas, 29, and Dylan Jagger, 27.
