‘KGF’ director Prashanth Neel was overjoyed when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lifted the trophy of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time in 18 years. The filmmaker arranged for a special screening and when RCB won, he jumped in joy, and playfully hit his friend in excitement. Their win against Punjab Kings ended their 18-year drought.
Prashanth Neel had a phenomenal setup to watch the IPL final match. With a huge screen set near a beach, he invited his friends and family to watch the finals of IPL 2025. When his favourite team won, Prashanth couldn’t control his excitement as he jumped in joy, screamed his lungs out and hit his friend as well.

Incidentally, director Prashanth Neel is celebrating his birthday today, June 4. It is indeed a special birthday for the ‘KGF’ filmmaker.
On the work front, Prashanth Neel is currently working on his upcoming film with Jr NTR. The film is tentatively titled ‘Dragon’. However, the makers are yet to announce the film’s title.
Director Prashanth Neel was catapulted to fame after Yash’s ‘KGF’ films. The first and second part of the ‘KGF’ films put Kannada cinema on the global map. The two films grossed over Rs 1500 crore (approx.) worldwide.
