Actor Ananya Panday, who shares a close bond with Shah Rukh Khan and his family, recently spoke about him in an interview with the Times of India. Referring to him as “an amazing father,” Ananya shared that he continues to “want to know what we’re doing and is very involved.” She also praised the superstar, adding that there’s “no one like him.”

Ananya Panday reflected on Shah Rukh Khan’s constant presence in her life since childhood. Speaking about his influence, she said, “I think the way Shah Rukh Khan handles his personal and professional life – there’s no one like him. While growing up, I saw first-hand what an amazing father he is to Aryan, Suhana and AbRam and the way he’s been with all of us.”
Ananya Panday expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, emphasizing his unique presence in their lives. “He would train us all for our sports day and taekwondo competitions. He was very, very present in what was happening in our lives. Even now, he wants to know what we’re doing and is very involved. Also, when he is talking to you, he has this quality of making you feel that you are the only person in the world. There is no one like him,” she shared.
Ananya Panday shares a strong bond with Shah Rukh Khan’s family, especially his daughter Suhana Khan, who is among her closest friends in the Hindi film industry. She is also often seen spending time with Shah Rukh’s sons, Aryan and AbRam Khan. In a 2019 interview with Asian Age, Ananya reflected on her long-standing connection with the family, saying, “SRK is like my second dad. He is my best friend’s dad, so we used to go with him for all the IPL matches. Only Suhana (Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter) and Shanaya (Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter) are my close friends from the industry and we share everything.”
Ananya Panday was last seen in Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, where she starred alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
Up next, she has been confirmed as the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan in Karan Johar’s upcoming romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Ananya will be seen playing the role of Rumi, while Kartik portrays Ray. The film’s first poster, featuring the duo sharing a romantic kiss, offers a glimpse of their on-screen chemistry. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 13, 2026.
