His last rites and funeral incident took place a while ago, and the heartbreaking glimpses surfaced online. It was Vibhu’s mom who was seen breaking down in tears, while the late actor’s industry friends consoled her.
Vibhu Raghave’s mom breaks down in tears, heartbreaking glimpses from his funeral surface
Recently, some glimpses from Vibhu Raghave’s last rites made rounds on social media. In a few of the glimpses, the late actor’s mom, Anupama Raghave was seen heartbroken, as she was crying inconsolably, which came with the greatest loss of her life. In a video, Mohit Malik and Addite Malik, who were close friends of Vibhu, were seen consoling the late actor’s mom. Among others, Nakuul Mehta, Anjali Anand, Abi Gail, Karan Veer Mehra, and Simple Kaur marked their presence at Vibhu’s funeral.

In another clip, Mohit was seen performing the rituals and shouldering the bier. Well, it was Vibhu’s other close friend who arrived at his last rites, and it was none other than his Nisha Aur Uske Cousins‘ co-star, Aneri Vajani. She also looked devasted, bearing the grief of the passing of her close friend, Vibhu.

Not much about Vibhu Raghave’s personal life is known, but he completed his studies in India and held a graduate degree in engineering. The late actor then studied acting at the New York Film Academy in the United States, following which he started taking up projects to establish himself as one in the glamour world. He was seen briefly in some famous projects such as Savdhaan India, Suvreen Chawla, and Rhythm, among others. Vibhu became famous with his performance as the lead in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins alongside Aneri Vajani. After winning hearts with his performance in the show, Vibhu continued to shine in his acting career.
Vibhu Raghave’s battle with cancer
Vibhu Raghave revealed being diagnosed with cancer back in 2022. For the unversed, he had been battling cancer for 3 years, and it was on June 3, 2025, when he bid farewell to the world. Vibhu was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer, which is a rare and aggressive form of cancer which originates in the colon. In his last video, Vibhu shared that the treatment didn’t work on him, and the cancer spread all over.
Vibhu also remained hopeful for betterment and asked his fans to pray for him, so that the next treatment he had, brought better results during his next scan. However, he couldn’t fight anymore and left the world. In an old interview, he shared that when he first got to know about his cancer, he had no reaction, and he used to think about what he did to deserve this, but as doctors said that he would have to live with it, he started to live more, accepting his fate.
